Acer Aspire One AOA150-1049 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Black Best Quality

The machine itself is pretty decent once you get used to the smaller keyboard. It actually lends itself to better typing, in my opinion, than a traditional laptop that has too much of a gap between the edge of the machine and the keyboard.

I upgraded the memory, and the process it took to do so is the only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars. I had to watch a You Tube video that showed how to do it step by step, and if I were more of a computer novice that probably wouldn't have helped me either.

A dvd-rw drive or some sort of optical drive would've been really nice, but people don't use CD's as much as they used to anyway, so buying a small external one isn't too bad of an idea.

Don't expect to play WoW or something on this laptop with no problems. You might get it to load and you may be able to do some limited things in game, but the graphics aren't going to load real fast and you're not going to be pvp'ing or something. Might be ok for checking out the auction house, moving from point a to point b, but that's about it.

It loads super fast once you've deleted all of the extra baggage. The office products trial ( remove and replace with the free Open Office.org or something), the bulky antivirus suite ( replace with the free Avast), and a lot of the stuff can be made to not start with the computer, so it will load faster.

All in all, it's a pretty quick little computer, especially with the memory upgrade, and works great on my wireless network. Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1049 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Black.
