I purchased this unit as a gift for Christmas, Amazon shipped it w/o any problems.
My daughter opened her present Christmas day and the internet has low or no connectivity. I called ACER Support and they said its not the laptop but to check w/ my ISP and check my router.
I check my router support and ISP and they could not find anything wrong. CAlled ACER again and they said that its the battery and they will send me one. After 2 weeks they sent me an adapter which i did not need. Called them again and they said iy just doent show on their computer and said they usually send it by pairs. Waited another week and called and the tech support said they never sent a battery and she will just send one and it will be 2 - 3 weeks.
Guess what after 2 weeks i called and they said its on back order. I finally got fed up and asked for a manager and he said the problem i have needs to be brought in because it has something to do with the wireless card not having enough juice when running on battery. He said just to send it in.
I got passed to another tech support and she said i have to pay to ship it to them. This is were i lost it, i told them you guys sold me a faulty product and you are expecting me to pay more for shipping.
I still have to call them back for this.
This is the worst customer support i have ever experienced! Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1049 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Black.
