I bought the Acer Aspire One because of the size and price. Larger laptops are too big and heavy for me to carry around and in addition, they were priced out of my range until recently.
I can only give the Aspire One four stars because I find it no better or no worse than any other computer I have owned or used. It does everything a larger computer can except play cds or videos (no dvd/cde drive). The smaller keyboard hasn't been a problem for me. The screen can seem small at times. Battery endurence isn't bad when compared to other portable electronics I own (I bought the Aspire with the 6 cell battery). It performs as expected and is suitable for my uses.
