The Acer Aspire One has transformed my image of Acer. One of the main reasons I purchased it was because of the many satisfied reviewers here and elsewhere. I haven't seen that many endorsements in a long time. There are other netbooks that have larger screens, bigger keyboards, etc., but this product has been tested by so many people, and the consensus of opinion is clear: it is an outstanding product. There was little wonder when I finally received it that it turned out to be even better than I had anticipated (as others have expressed). I have been watching netbooks from the time they came out of the gate, and the combination (du jour) of XP, 160Gig HD, 1Gig RAM, 6 cell battery, and last but not at all least - Acer design sold me on this product. I had tried it out at a local store before purchasing it from Amazon but, it wasn't until I finally received it (two days ago) that I realized that, in it's own right, it is a technical masterpiece of engineering. For those who like things in small packages, this is a true dream machine. Highly recommended!
