I bought this netbook for my granddaughter for Christmas. Of course, I opened the box and poked around a bit on the computer. It is a surprising little machine. The keyboard takes a bit to get used but is certainly fine for smaller hands. Screen clarity is excellent. I have late middle age eyes with bifocals and had no trouble reading anything on the screen. I did, however, dump McAfee and install Comodo firewall. I find McAfee to be a generally poor product. I didn't downgrade the rating for that. The fit and finish (white) is very good. I saw no manufacturing marks. The battery snapped right into place. Boot time is fast. Works is provided for free, a trial copy of Office is on the machine. No crapware that I can see.
