I did all the research... I read about all the mini laptops that were out there. Read the reviews of the Acer Aspire One... For the money, it had the most to offer. Am I happy with it? Yes! I carry a laptop to work everyday. I REALLY appreciate the reduced weight of the mini laptop. Mind you, I already own 2 additional laptops. Yes, this was another toy. I miss a disc drive, but can use my other laptops for the drives and transfer what I need. I have never heard the fan. Yes, the top and palmrest get smudged. I recommend a skin. [...] With the skin, I don't see smudges. Plus, it adds a personal touch and great color. I mostly surf the internet with my mini. I do run a slingbox on it and it works great! I do recommend the Acer Aspire One. Like I said earlier, you get the most for your money.
