Acer Aspire One AOA150-1049 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Black Right now

this is a great laptop for a college student always on the go and needs to finish up that paper just in the nick of time. The processor is a little slow for extreme multi-tasking but it does the job anyone would be asking of a low-cost laptop. Its small and can be carried in the backpack with text books since it seems to be built so sturdy. I don't see any need for a special case to carry it in unless it might get wet. The keyboard fits me well and the shift keys are where they should be unlike an ASUS I heard about. The screen can be made super bright for indoor use though I haven't used it outside to see how it looks. I keep it on the darkest setting inside and my friends comment on how bright it is. The quick start up is cool and any time that you want to shut down just pressing the power button will do a normal shut down. Its almost impossible to hit by accident because its lowered into the top above the delete button.
The touch pad mouse works well for me though not absolutly ideal for gaming it'll do. You can zoom in or zoom in on a web page by putting two fingers on the pad and moving them apart or together horizontally. Web pages fill the screen by pressing F11 and that leaves room for videos and pictures or flash games. I do most of my scrolling with the up and down arrows which double for volume control when holding down the function key. The brightness keys are the left and right arrows when using the function key.
The fact that there is no CD/DVD drive can be trouble but and external drive isn't that much if you need it. Otherwise, go for small!Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1049 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Black.
