I bought this for my wife. My wife has almost always used a Windows machine. I hate Windows, shrunk the windows partition to around 30GB and installed Ubuntu 8.10 on the remaining 130GB. I also installed the Ubuntu Netbook remix, which has some handy utils specific for Netbooks such as the Aspire One, Dell Mini, HP Mini, eeePC, etc.
My wife used Windows twice, complained about how slow Windows was compared to Ubuntu and hasn't used Windows since. She LOVES this little Netbook.
