I bought this for my kids for Christmas and have been pleasantly surprised by its features. You get a lot of memory for the money, it's cute and easily portable, it ocmes with its own sleeve and it can do almost anything my (admittedly several years old) desktop can. On the down side, it has XP, not Vista, and while I HATE Vista, a lot of new software won't run on XP and that will especially be true after the next upgrade. You'll also need an external CD drive as it doesn't have one. I picked one up for about 25.00 though, so no hardship.
