Acer Aspire One 8.9-inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Sapphire Blue
This netbook has proven a great item to own. It's small enough having it your lap actually is bearable weight wise and I don't find it gets all that hot.
Recently traveled overseas with it and I was able to simply throw it into my carry on (in a neoprene sleeve of course). Battery life is great (glad I waited for the 6-cell version). The 160GB drive dwarfs that found in my work and home computers (both ~ 2 years old) and I've barely filled it up so far.
While I get the concern about the keyboard size, it hasn't proven to be an issue for my not so small paws.
A couple of reasons it didn't award it five stars are the smallish # of vertical pixels means frequent scrolling especially if you have many menu bars in you browser or other app and the fact it's practically impossible to upgrade RAM vs. some of its competitor netbooks (i.e. Lenovo's S10).
